Las diferencias entre SOME, ANY, A FEW, A LITTLE

 

Any: uses in the interogative and negative forms.

Ex: Are there any students in the class?

     No, there an¡ren't any students there.

Some: uses in the interrogative and affirmative forms. 

Ex: Did you see any people in the party yesterday?

     Yes, i saw some people in the that party.

But, when you have a formal or informa request or offer with these expressions.

CAN YOU...? (for request)

COULD YOU...? ( (for request)

DO YOU WANT...?(for offer)

WOULD YOU LIKE...?(for offer)

CAN I...? ( for request)

COULD I...?(for request)

Ex. Can you pass me the cup, please? ( request)

      Would you like some apples?  ( offer)

A little: is used in the affirmative forms with noncount nouns for a small quantity.

Ex: She would like a little sugar in her coffeee.

A few: is used in the affirmative forms with count nouns for a small quantity.

Ex: We see a few birds on the tree.
