Las diferencias entre el presente simple y el presente continuo ( progresivo)

Usually, the present simple is used for three important uses to show:

1. the habits by using these expressions:

on ( thuesdays, wednesday, Fridays, );

adverbs of frequency ( always, usually, sometimes, never, often, etc.)

- with every( day, month, minute, hour, year, etc).

Ex: I always play soccer on sundays with my friends.

Every saturday, i eat soup with my family.

2. permanent activiy.

Ex: i work as a teacher. ( permanent, that's to say, it's something in the past, present and may the future).

3. timetable future or scheduled future.

Ex: The plane leaves at 10 o'clock in the morning.

I have a meeting at 6 pm tomorrow.

Normally, the present progressive is used for two important uses to show:

- an activity that is happening now at the moment of speaking, but in progress. Usually, it is used with these expressions of time: now, right noe, at the moment, look!, listen!

Ex: I am listening to music now.

      We are studying right now.

      Listen! she is speaking.

- sometimes it's used in the future to show arrangement, that's to say, we decise to to do something in the righr place and time without doubt.

Ex: She is playing volleyball tomorrow at 6 pm.

We are eating soup at 8 pm tonight.
