The pronunciacion de la forma ED al final de los verbos regulares y los adjectivos

 

To understand it, you must follow these rules:


Rule #1

Verbs that end by D or T, you, when you add ED at the end of the verbs, the sound will be /id /

Ex: want--wantED  /wantid/

      need--needED  /nidid/


Rule #2

Verbs that end by SS, CH, SH, P, C, K, X, GH, you, when you add ED at the end of the verbs, the sound will be /t /

Ex: Jump---jumpED /djompt/

      laugh---laughED /laft/

     wash---wasED /wast/

     kiss---kissED     /kist/


Rule #3

Verbs that end by R, L, S, W, V, M, N, Q, B, E you, when you add ED at the end of the verbs, the sound will be /d/

Ex: love---lovED     / lóvd/

     clean---cleanED / klind/

     use---usED        /usd/

    call---callED / kóld/
